On a peninsula that juts in the Nothern Atlantic, Halifax is the largest population centre East of Montreal. A functioning, busy port and bustling tourist destination, Halifax Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world. It is the provincial capital, with several universities, associated and independent research, an increasing IT sector, a burgeoning arts scene, and retains its importance as a port and a steady naval presence. 
 

Camp location:

Harbour view all weather fields (Burnside fields)
Commodore Drive, Dartmouth

Directions
Burnside Fields - Located in Burnside Industrial Park on Commodore Drive Extension.  Off the McKay bridge, take the 3rd exit - to Burnside Drive - Turn Left onto Burnside Dr. At the 2nd set of lights, turn right onto Commodore Drive (there is a strip mall with Staples, Pets Unlimited and NSLC).  Go straight on Commodore Drive. Cross Specticle Lake Drive.  Fields are on the left (approximately 400 metres).
